Yes, the given example here is a classical schizophrenia condition. To be more precise, patient is seen to suffer from paranoid schizophrenia. This is because aggression and delusion are seen to be predominantly present in all behavior shown by patient. Example for aggressiveness is hitting his colleague with steel pipe and delusion is the fact that he is running due to the delusion that police is following him. Here the medication chlorpromazine is seen to bring patient back to normalcy. This is a medication which is used in both depression and schizophrenia. Here this medicine has become very much effective in treating schizophrenia due to which patient was able to get discharged from hospital and come back to normal life.
