1. The blind spot is located in the retina at the site where the optic nerve leaves the eyeball. Anatomically it lacks rods and cones and thus is called the blind spot.

2. The main parts involved are ciliary muscles, lens, iris and pupil. Ciliary muscle, iris and pupil change their shape, contraction or relaxation to accomodate, the curvature of the lens changes to do the same.

3. After image occurs when the photoreceptors rods and cones become less sensitive or loose the ability of proper recognition. It happens due to the damage in reception of image.
