1. The blind spot is located in the retina at the site where the optic nerve leaves the eyeball. Anatomically it lacks rods and cones and thus is called the blind spot.

3. After image occurs when the photoreceptors rods and cones become less sensitive or loose the ability of proper recognition. It happens due to the damage in reception of image.
