Hemorrhagic stroke is mostly fatal and even for those who survive the recovery is not full. They have to live with impairments like partial or complete paralysis of the body, loss of speech, semi-comatose condition, etc. Only a few are able to recover as much as to get complete or near complete body functioning. The treatment of hemorrhagic stroke depends on how severe it is and in which part of the brain it has occured.

The first line of treatment that neurosurgeons employ is transfuse blood thinners and medications to try and dissolve the blood clot. This has to be accompanied by transfusions of blood products to counteract the blood thinners effect.

Surgical removal of the blood clot depends upon the location of the clot in the brain and wheter it can be reached without causing irreparable damage to the brain tissues.

The main reason for fatalities after a hemorrhage is that the tissues do not get oxygen and begin to die. Acute circuit aims at continuing the blood supply to the cells of the tissues so that they continue to function. So, even though the initial prognosis is poor, acute circuits help to restore the blood flow to the region and minimise or in some cases, even reverse the damage to a certain degree.
