c) E(X^2) = 0^2 * 0.683 + 1^2 * 0.201 + 2^2 * 0.078 + 3^2 * 0.020 + 4^2 * 0.012 + 5^2 * 0.005 = 1.01

Variance(\sigma^2) = E(X^2) - (E(X))^2

               = 1.01 - (0.5)^2

               = 0.8

d) Standard deviation(\sigma) = sqrt(0.8) = 0.9
