(a) energy stored is potential energy stored in spring

(b)force=-kx (- sign is there as direction of force is opposite to direction of displacement

(c)slope=k

so k=4/2=2 N/m

(d )work done=change in energy=0.5*2*(2^2-1^1)=3 J
