2.While watching many movies while confined at home during school closure, Mr. and Mrs. Schreckengost wanted to find out if DreamWorks Movies are really longer than Disney movies. In order to find this out they took a random sample of 15 Disney movies and 15 Dreamworks movies.

a.The histograms below show the run times of Disney movies, DreamWorks movies and the difference in the two. What kind of test should the Schreckengost’s run and which of the histograms below would be needed to test the approximately normal condition? Explain your choice.

b.Define any parameter and write the hypothesis for the test should be run in order to see if DreamWorks Movies are really longer than Disney movies.

c.After checking all the conditions, the test was run and the statistics were calculated. It was found that t = 1.256 and p = 0.112. What decision and conclusion should be made at the =.05 level of significance?

d.Interpret the p-value in context of this situation. What type of error could have been made on this test of significance?

a.The histograms below show the run times of Disney movies, DreamWorks movies and the difference in the two. What kind of test should the Schreckengost’s run and which of the histograms below would be needed to test the approximately normal condition? Explain your choice.

The two-sample independent t-test should be performed because the groups are independent.

b.Define any parameter and write the hypothesis for the test should be run in order to see if DreamWorks Movies are really longer than Disney movies.

The parameters are Disney movies and Dreamworks movies.

The hypothesis being tested is:

H0: µ1 = µ2

H1: µ1 > µ2

c.After checking all the conditions, the test was run and the statistics were calculated. It was found that t = 1.256 and p = 0.112. What decision and conclusion should be made at the =.05 level of significance?

The p-value is 0.112.

Since the p-value (0.112) is greater than the significance level (0.05), we fail to reject the null hypothesis.

Therefore, we cannot conclude that DreamWorks Movies are really longer than Disney movies.

d.Interpret the p-value in context of this situation. What type of error could have been made on this test of significance?

Type II error could have been made on this test of significance.

Please give me a thumbs-up if this helps you out. Thank you!

Write a C program for: One technique for dealing with deadlock is called “detect and recover.” In this scheme, some procedure is used to identify when a deadlock occurs, and then another procedure is used to deal with the blocked processes. One technique to identify a deadlock is to maintain a resource graph that identifies all processes, all resources, and the relationships between them (that is, which processes exclusively own which resources, and which processes are blocked waiting for which...

Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
