Answer #1

Solution -

In turbulent flow, there is randomness in the flow pattern which leads to the cross of the path of the streamlines as well the loss of the head of the water the turbulent flow is unsteady and non-uniform flow in which the streamlines patterns changes with time and space and can begin and end at any point.

In Steady flow, the velocities of the fluid particles remain constant with time and may vary with space since the streamline is the locus of the fluid particles having the same velocity so if velocity becomes constant with it means the pattern will become constant with time and the pattern of the streamlines will never change with time.

The velocity of any fluid particle in the streamline is always tangential to it not perpendicular to it.

In steady flow, the pattern of the streamline does not change with time it does not mean they will remain equally spaced but if the flow is uniform along with steady flow then, in this case, the streamlines will be equally spaced, parallel and remain constant in pattern with time.

Which of the statements below is TRUE? One problem with IRR as a decision rule is that if the cash flow is not standard, there is a possibility of multiple IRRs for a single project. When we talk about standard cash flow for a project, we assume an initial cash outflow at the beginning of the project and negative cash flows in the future. For every period that the cash flow has a change of sign (negative to positive or...
