discuss the similarities and differences of a solicited and unsolicited proposal ?

Both solicited and unsolicited proposals contain information about products or services with some specific information regarding those products and services. They both are prepared with one goal in mind which is to persuade the customers to make a purchase decision. One of the most important differences is that a solicited proposal is one which the customer requested for while the unsolicited proposal is sent from the business’ end without the request of the customers. In the former, there are chances that the customer would go through it in detail because they requested it but in the latter, the customers may not even read it because they would receive many such proposals. The former would be very specific because it was on the request of the customer while the latter would be very generic as it might include more items.
