A single non-replicated chromosome i.e equal to one chromatid = 1 DNA molecule

A replicated chromosome i.e equal to 2 chromatids (aka sister chromatid) = 2 DNA molecules

Therefore a cell in G1 phase the cell would effectively have 46 molecules of chromosomes and 92 DNA molecules in each nuclei.

A diploid human cell has approximately 6.4 billion base pairs of DNA.

If one nuleosome appears every 200bp of DNA, so in a diploid DNA with 6.4billion bases,

the number of nucleosomes will be = 6.4billion/200

= 32 million.
