Mandala is pattern made with coloured sand and are believed to transmit positive energies in the environment. Tibetan mandala contains deities with main diety represented in the center and others in the surrounding. Each deity has philosophical views and are considered role models. Mandala making strives for making ordinary minds enlightened and healed. It depicts the state reached during meditation.
