wt. of liquid = wt. of beaker with liquid - wt. of beaker = m

if balance was not zeroed and weighed 0.100 g more throughout experiment ,

wt. of liquid = (wt. of beaker with liquid + 0.100 g) - (wt. of beaker+ 0.100 g) = m

since , measured wt. or mass of liquid is difference of two values , thus there will be no impact on mass of liquid , thus ==> calculated value for density will be correct : equal to true value.

5. same error of balance in determination of density of Metal cylinder,

d = m/ V

if balance was not zeroed and weighed 0.100 g more during experiment ,

wt. of meat cylinder = m + 0.100 g

thus, d = m+ 0.100 g / V   > m/ V

since , measured mass of metal cylinder is difference more than actual , thus ==> calculated value of density for metal will be incorrect : higher than true value.
