1. The graph shows the increase in the biomass which may be increase in number of plants, size of plants, or thickness or weight of the plants.

The graph shows that the when the medium is controlled, means no herbivores are present in surrounding amd no additional nutrients are given, the increase in biomass is normal or average.

But when herbivores are present then there is reduction in the biomass which is due to loss of plant material by herbivores eating behaviour.

When the herbivores are present and additional nutrients are provided then the growth is increased very much. The biomass size is increased rapidly. It is due to the presence of the nutrients which allows faster growth, and more increase than the loss caused by the herbivores.
