A eustatic increase in sea level happens when there is a global change in the amount of water contained in the oceans or a shift in ocean basin structure that changes the volume of water that they can accommodate. In a simple term rise means an increase in sea level and fall means drops in sea level. It occurs at a global level. The term sea-level rise usually refers to the projected long-term global rise of the ocean surface estimated from the Earth's center (or more precisely, the Earth's reference ellipsoid), as derived from satellite observations. Compared sea-level rise refers to the long-term average increase in sea-level comparative to local land-level, as determined from coastal tide gauges.

Transgression and Regression terms are also related to sea- level. On the exposed surface of the rock, transgression and regression can be observed by seeing the fining or coarsening upward or downward pattern. A marine transgression is a natural phenomenon during which the sea level rises relative to the ground, and the shoreline moves inland, resulting in flooding. Either land sinking or ocean basins filling with water (or can incapacity) may cause transgressions. Marine regression is a geological phenomenon that occurs when regions of underwater seafloor above sea level are revealed. The opposite case, marine transgression, happens when sea-flooding covers earlier exposed ground.

Transgression and Regression is a relative term. you can not give the name for the particular rock as transgression or regression. you can take a series of rock for giving the name.

What properties cause some magmas to be more felsic than others?Different minerals crystallize at different temperatures, changing the chemistry. Some parts of the mantle are felsic and some are mafic, creating felsic magma in the crust.Water from subducting ocean plate mixes with the magma to create felsic magmaAnimals change the chemistry of the magma, making it more felsic.Silica content in igneous rocks controls (select the correct term)["texture", "viscosity", "crystal size"]         which, in turn, controls   ["eruption style", "crystal size"]      ...
