Answer #1

5) H20+ NaOH showed the greatest change in pH because the solution turned acidic to basic , NaOH is strong base it dissociates completely into its ions and pH turns basic.

6)NaCl+ HCl showed the little change in pH because NaCl is Ionic and will dissociate into Na+ and Cl- ions in solution HCl will also give H+ and Cl- so there is common ion in solution leading to less acidic solution.

7) A buffer is supposed to keep pH of solution constant not at 7.

8)The bicarbonate is regulated in the blood by sodium When sodium bicarbonate(NaHCO3), comes into contact with a strong acid, such as HCl, carbonic acid (H2CO3)( it will not completely dissociate in to its ions), which is a weak acid, and NaCl are formed.

Acid is not dissociating completely so pH of blood will not decrease means it becomes less acidic.
