In SDLC which is software development life cycle has 6 phases

1 - Requirement and Analysis
2 - Design
3 - Implementation
4 - Testing
5 - Deployment
6 - Maintenance

Let's take an example of organizing a large birthday party for a family member

The first step is gathering information about the family member his likes and dislikes, favorite color, friends etc. then make a budget for all food catering, items you want to buy from market for him then do some search for his items in the market and make a record of that.
In this phase you have taken requiremnet of items and search for its availability in market.


Second step is to make rough design that how to decorate room for his party according to his likes.Design cake for his birthday, discuss the design with cake shop chef the design.When all the designing is done then we will move to to the next phase i.e. implementation part.

Third step is implementing all the planning and designing of cake and decorating room and sending invitation to all the friends and order catering company for food and most important prepare special gift for him.When all the implementation is done then we will move to the next phase i.e. is check all arrangements which can be called final check before party.

Fourth Step is to do final check for all arrangements i.e. check that all friends have received invitation,decoration is up to mark, food caterer is ready with food, check for cake, and etc. Do a rough test or check that all the thing will happen on time so that nothing should be left incomplete.

Fifth phase is main part which is party day, all the friends have arrived, food caterer is ready and cake is on time and finally celebration is started. This step can also be called deployment day of all the planning of partyIn this take users reviews about the party check if family member likes the party or not.

Sixth which is final step to maintain the enjoyment all night, nothing should left incomplete, maintain party and celebration enviroment, always check for any incompleteness and complete it in no time.


Above each step shows the phases of SDLC in the form birthday party.
