We have to view the area below curve, we know that the value of x that the particle move is 20m so:

A_0_-_>_2=\frac{2*10}{2}=10 m

A_2_-_>_3=10*1=10 m

A_0_-_>_2+A_2_-_>_3=10+10=20m so the time is t=3s

If we had data of vertical velocity we can check the result with the value of vertical distance that is 9 m
