Here, in the given case, liver is removed rats, growth is not rapid, and excess of from the GHRH in the blood. As the liver is removed, there will be no production of IGF-1 (Insulin growth factor 1) and There will be no growth, proliferation and differenti -ation of muscle cells, fat cells and bone cella so, there will be no growth seen in rats! feom liver GHRH is more in blood because as IGF-I is not released! there is no inhibition of GHRH from Hypothalamus: - so, because of liver removal, there is more GHRH in blood and to growth in rats.
