Answer #1

We can use an observational study to answer questions about a given population and establish an association between any two variables of interest. Hence, A and B are true.

We do not manipulate our variables of interest in an observational study, because of this reason it is not effective to check the cause-and-effect relationship between two variables. Hence, C is false.

D is correct as if many observational studies meet the criteria, we can say that there is a cause effect but we should not completely rely on the results obtained, we should be cautious enough. D is true.

E is true as a well designed experiment is the best method to determine a cause and effect relationship

Therefore, ABDE are true

Which of the following statements are true about molarity and dilution? (Select all that apply.) Molarity is one of many ways to measure the concentration of a solution. The molarity equation can be algebraically rearranged to give the following relationship: moles (M / Liters). The molarity equation can be algebraically rearranged to give the following relationship: Liters (M * moles). Molarity is defined as the number of moles of solute per liter of solvent. When diluting a solution by adding water the number of moles...

Which of the following statements are true? Select all that apply. For a diagnosis of sepsis, the appropriate code for the underlying systemic infection should be assigned. Severe sepsis generally refers to sepsis with that is not associated acute or multiple organ dysfunction. As with all postprocedural complications, code assignment for sepsis due to postprocedural infection is based on the provider’s documentation of the relationship between the infection and the procedure. Severe sepsis requires a minimum of two codes.

One of the major learning objectives of this chapter is to define a factorial research design, including the terms factor and level, and to identify and describe factorial designs when they appear in a research report. The goal of experiments is to establish the existence of a cause-and-effect relationship between two variables. To accomplish this goal, the researcher manipulates one variable (that is, the independent variable) and measures a second variable. Nonexperiments and quasi-experiments are similar to experiments except that...
