Answer #1

Number of moles = 0.133 moles

Volume, V = 525 mL = 0.525 L (1L = 1000 mL)

Pressure, P = 312 torr = 312/760 = 0.410 atm

(1 atm = 760 torr)

Gas constant, R = 0.082 Latm/mol.K

Using ideal gas equation :

Temperature, T = PV/nR

= 0.410×0.525/0.082×0.133

= 19.76 K

T(°C ) = T(K) - 273.15

= 19.76-273.15

= -253 °C
