Total calories spent walking = rate of Calorie * time walking
= 160 kcal/h * 9.0 h
= 1440 kcal

Total calories spent swimming = rate of Calorie * time swimming
= 340 kcal/h * 2.5 h
= 850 kcal

So,
Total calories spent = 1440 kcal + 850 kcal
= 2290 kcal

Answer: 2.3*10^3 kcal
