q = m × dH

Where, q= heat required (joules)

m = mass of substance (g)

dH = Heat of fusion (j/g)

Thus heat required for melting 11g water is ;

q = 11g × (334 j/g) = 3674 j which matches closely with 3670 j .

Hence option (d) 3670 joules , is the correct answer.
