Bond order of a compound having more than one resonating structures is equal to total number of bonds i.e sigma + π bonds in different resonating structures between two Atoms devide by total number of resonating structures.

Total no of bonds in the compound= 5

Total number of resonating structures= 4

Bond order = 5/4 = 1.25
