Reducing agent is the which reduces the other species and itself undergoes oxidation. That means it gives its electrons to others and it oxidizes.

(I) here, A is not converting to A+ , so A is the weakest reducing agent

But if we reverse the reaction, C is able to reduce A+ to A. Therefore, C is a stronger reducing agent than A (C>A)

(ii) D is able to reduce three C+ ions. So, D is the strongest reducing agent than C. (D>C)

(iii) here, B is able to reduce D​​​​​3+ ions to D. Therefore, B is the strongest reducing agent than D. Because reverse of this reaction is not possible and D can't reduce B. (B>D)

Answer: B>D>C>A
