Answer #1

We need to plot lnK on y axis and 1/T on x axis
K = 0.378
ln K = ln (0.378) = -0.97286
T = 225.0
1/T = 0.00444

point 1 is:
x = 0.00444
y = -0.97286

K = 0.611
ln K = ln (0.611) = -0.49266
T = 575.0
1/T = 0.00174

point 2 is:
x = 0.00174
y = -0.49266

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
rise = (y1-y2) = -0.97286 - -0.49266 = -0.4802
rise = (X1-X2) = 0.00444 - 0.00174 = 0.00271
slope = rise/run
= -0.4802/0.00271
= -177.50352
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
use
slope = - Ea/R
-177.50352 = -Ea/8.314
Ea = 1476 J/mol
