1 mole CO2 requires 2 moles KOH to react completely.

Hence, No of moles of KOH required = 2 * No of moles of CO2 = 2 * 4 moles = 8 moles.

Also, 1 mole CO2 gives 1 mole K2CO3 and 1 mole H2O

Hence, No of moles of K2CO3 formed = No of moles of H2O formed = No of moles of CO2 consumed = 4 moles.

i.e. The reaction consumes 8 moles of Potassium Hydroxide and the reaction produces 4 moles of Potassium Carbonate and 4 moles of water
