There forms no precipitates on mixing CH3COONa and HCl , as both salts are soluble .

So write (no reaction) .

Part B .

Balanced equation for reaction is ;

NaCH3COO(aq) + HCl(aq) >>>>>>>> NaCl(aq) + HCH3COO(aq) .

As both products formed are aqueous (aq) , that is why no precipitates forms.
