Also we have PV= NRT

Therefore P= NRT/V

Therefore Work done = -NRT ln (V2/V1)

here N=2 mole

T=298k

R=8.314 J/K-mol

Putting down the values we have

Work done = -2*8.314*298*ln((0.5/2))

=6900J
