We will apply Handerson hasselbalch equation here.

pH = pKa + log { [base] / [Acid] }

Where,

pH = 7.50

pKa = - log of acid dissociation constant of acid = 6.10

[base] = concentration of conjugate base of acid = [ HCO3^-] = 24mmol/L = 0.024 mol/L

[acid] = H2CO3 concentration.

Plugging in all the values,

7.50 = 6.10 + log 0.024 - log [H2CO3]

- log [H2CO3] = 7.50 - 6.10 - log 0.024 = 3.02

Taking antilog of both sides will give us acid concentration

log [H2CO3] = -3.02

[H2CO3] = 9.55 x 10^-4 mol / L = 0.955 mmol/ L
