In this question the three required slides are in different states of CO.

Melting point of CO is -205°c

Boiling point of CO is -192°c

Sketch A has temperature -157°C means CO is in gaseous state. So Slide 1 is correct.

Answer you have selected now is wrong because it is showing atoms C and O are being separated at -157°C.

Sketch B has temperature -196°C means CO is in liquid state.So correct answer is ​​​​​slide 3

In this slide CO molecules are closer to each other than gaseous state.

Sketch C has temperature -209°C means CO is in solid state. So correct answer is Slide 2.

In solid state molecules are compactly arranged.
