Here we have pure Sulfur dioxide and its melting point is given as -72 oC and boiling point is given as -10 oC this means:

Any temperature below -72 oC SO2 will be in solid state.

Any temperature above -10 oC SO2 will be in gaseous state.

Any temperature in between the melting temperature and boiling temperature i.e. between -72 oC to -10 oC, SO2 will be in liquid state.

In sketch one the given temperature is 65 oC this is well above the boiling temperature of SO2 so it will be in gaseous state so move the slider to show the gas state.

In sketch two the given temperature is -43 oC at this temperature SO2 will be a liquid so move the slider to show the liquid state.

In sketch three the given temperature is -106 oC at this temperature SO2 will be in solid state so move the slider to show the solid state.
