Answer #1

Ans)

1-Decomposition of water balanced chemical equation:   2H2O(l)  \rightarrow H2(g) + O2(g)

2-2NaN3(s) \rightarrow 3N2(g) +    2Na(s)

Reactant atoms : Na - 2

N - 6

Product atoms : Na - 2

N - 6

It shows law of conservation of mass which states that  the mass of any one element at the beginning of a reaction will equal the mass of that element at the end of the reaction.

3-A balanced chemical equation occurs when the number of the atoms involved in the reactants side is equal to the number of atoms in the products side.

balanced chemical equation for above equation will be:

C12H22O11 + 12O2 = 12CO2 + 11H2O

4- Complete equations are as follows:

(a) BaCl2 + K2SO4 = BaSO4 + 2KCl

(b) Fe2(SO4)3 + 6LiOH = 2Fe(OH)3 + 3Li2SO4
