  • It follows the mechanism that defends hosts from infection by other organism .
  • It Has no immunological memory.

ADAPTIVE IMMUNE SYSTEM:

  • It is acquired as well as specific.
  • activated by exposure to pathogens.
  • There are two types of adaptive responses: the cell-mediated immune response
  1. cell-mediated that is activated by T-cells
  2. humoral controlled by activated B cells
