Given that there are 200 mice

40% of this 200=(40\times200)/100

=80 dark coat colored mice

60% of 200=200-80

=120 light coat colored mice

75% of 80=(75\times80)/100

=60 dark coat colored mice will survive the year

50% of 120=(50\times120)/100

=60 light coat colored mice will survive the year
