Type 1 diabetes

The reaction is mediated by sensitisedT lymphocytes which on contact with specific antigen releases chemical mediators such as lymphokines that cause biological effects on other cells such as macrophages , leucocytes and tissues. Type 4 is delayed or cell mediated reaction. There are two types of tyoe 4 hypersensitivity reactions the tuberculin type and contact dermatotis. Other skin tests included are lepromin test , Frei test.

Type 2 hypersensitivity reactions include

autoimmune anemias and hemolytic disease of newborn and drug reactions such as sedermoid purpura which causes thrombocytic purpura. So autoimmune diseases such as graves , myesthenia gravis etc are type 2.

Myesthenia gravis and grabes disaese are both autoimmune disorders so tyoe 2 hypersensitivity which is cytotoxic reaction

Serum sickness and Rheumatoid arthritis are type 3 hypersensitivity as it is charecterised by deposition of antigen antibody complexes in tissue. Other example is Arthus reaction. Type 3 is immune comolex reaction.

Anaphylactic shock is type 1 hypersensitivity meduated by IgE antibodies
