All wires in the figure are made of the same material and have the same diameter. Rank in order, from largest to smallest, the currents I1 to I'4 . Explain.

   I assume all wires are of same length andhence their resistance (   R   =   ρ * l/ A) is same.
   Then      I1   =   I4   >   I2= I3
   I1 andI4   will same as wires carrying thesecurrents are in series and current in series is same.
   I3 and I4 will be sameas these are in parallel hence same poential difference occursacross each and have same resistance. This will result in samecurrent.
   Finally current will be divided into twoequal part (I1 = I2 + I3) henceI2 and I3 will be less thanI1.
