DNA has to complementary strand . The 3'-5' strand isthe coding strand and the 5' to 3' is the non-coding strand. In the complementary strands of DNA, Thymine(T) base pairs with Adenine(A) and cytosine (C) base pairs ith Guanine(G). The mRNA formed is complementary to the coding strand.It has the same bases as the non-coding strand, the only difference is that in RNA thymine is replaced by uracil (U). Every 3 consecutive base in the mRNA codes for an amino acid. Each codon has been marked with a different color.The single letter code of the amino acid they code for has been mentioned. The 4 th ro is that of the tRNA anticodon that is brought in during translation. The anti-codon is complementary to the codons on the mRNA.
