1) Dandelion fruit with tiny, parachute-like plume

2) Orchid seed that is extremely tiny and lightweight

3) Maple fruit with a curved wing

1) Seed surrounded by inflated sacs

2) Fruit with a thick, spongy pericarp

3) Seed with oil appendages

1) Edible fruit containing a laxative

2) Bur fruit covered with small hooks

3) Fruit with a very waxy surface

Fruits, bulbs, bulbils, spores and seeds are generally transported from parent plants by various natural agencies like animals, wind and water.

Fruit or seeds that are very tiny and lightweight (orchid seed, spores) or those which possess special wing like apperence (dandelions, maple fruit) can easily transported through wind.

Some fruits are edible. So they can attract animals. After eating the edible part animals throw the seeds at distant places. Some fruits or seeds have hooks or waxy surface by which they can easily attach to the body of animals.

Some fruits and seeds have spongy or sac like appearence. With the help of these, they can easily float on water. Coconut is an example.
