1. Difference between the Myasthenia gravis and Guillain barre syndrome described as below:-
Myasthenia gravis is an auto immune disease, here the antibodies induce blocking or destroy the receptors at junction between the nerve and muscle. So muscle contractions is triggered. Mainly in this syndrome antibodies which are block or destroy nicotinic acetylcholine receptors at the junction between the nerve and muscle. Effects the body by -Varying degrees muscle weakness, double vision, drooping eyelids, trouble talking, trouble walking etc.
Guillain-Barré syndrome -occurs when immune system mistakenly prepared antibodies which are mainly attack the healthy nerves of the nervous system. For example the zika virus infection is one of the major cause. Effects the body BY- respiratory system can be paralyzed, tingling sensation in hands and feet, muscle weakness etc.
2. Also called: ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The nerve cells break down is induced by this disease, that mainly reduces functionality in the muscles that they supply.ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects (cns or central nervous system)nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.
Effects on body described as below-muscle weakness, cramping, problems with coordination, stiff muscles, loss of muscle, muscle spasms, or overactive reflexes
Whole body: fatigue or feeling faint
Speech: difficulty speaking or vocal cord spasm
Also common: difficulty raising the foot, difficulty swallowing, drooling, lack of restraint, mild cognitive impairment, severe constipation, severe unintentional weight loss, or shortness of breath.
3.Diagnostic method:-Blood tests for specific antibodies, edrophonium test, nerve conduction studies are confirmed the diagnosis method. And Medication Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors are applied.
