  • The degradation effects can be studied by usings solvents including chlorinated solvents, tetra hydrofuran, acetone or ethyl acetate.
  • lower molecular weight PLGAs degrades more quickly
  • Larger molecular weight PLGAs could not increase the loading content and encapsulation efficiency and it have low degradation rate.
  • Due to its favourable degradation characteristics PLGAs are used as biocompatible device for drug delivery.
