Loring Brace opposed the concept of biological races in humans because he believed that palaeontological evidence & human variations are the basis of human evolution. If races are there, then there would be a invisible boundary among the people of various geographical regions leading to microscopic variation among the subspecies of humans.

The scientific evidences Loring used in favour of his oppositions are Skin color, ABO blood group system, intelligence level & thinking capacity.
