How is the process of fixing nitrogen from the atmosphere different from the way carbon is fixed in the carbon cycle?

Solution :

In atmosphere including of all the chemical elements ,the highest quantity of nitrogen takes place with 78.09% by volume this is used as inert gas but it is not an inert gas.

The nitrogen present in the atmosphere is converted into ammonia or also some other nitrogenous compounds in soil is known as biological nitrogen fixation. Nitrogen is mainly exists as N2 molecule which is said to be diatomic. The process of biological nitrogen fixation is carried out by an enzyme called nitrogenase.

There nitrogen which was converted from the atmosphere to nitrogenous compounds and those can also be again converted into their natural form nitrogen in the atmosphere is carried out by the decomposers ex some bacteria. such as denitrifying bacteria converts the nitrous compounds into nitrogen which is released into the atmosphere.
