Whenever the concentration of a salt increases in a medium, then the concentration of cations and anions also increases in the medium. These cations and anions interact with the negatively charged and positively charged side Chains of amino acid respectively. This disrupt the bonding present between amino acids in the protein and therefore destroy structure of protein making it denatured.

First option is incorrect because salt may increase or decrease the pH of the medium.

Second option is incorrect because presence of salt lead to the formation of ionic bond and not mechanical forces.

Third option is incorrect because high concentration of salt can lead to denaturation of proteins.
