Q.2- Don't store kernel in refrigerator this will let the kernels to dry out.by addition of duds the calculation differs . It carries some weight, some mass thats why it create difference.

Q.3- I don't think so it is goog idea to store popcorn kernels in refrigerator because of drying out of that kernels after placing in refrigerator.

Many think that refrigerator are good for storing it's all because of they think that the taste will be better than earlier.it never turn stale .it never freezes.

By placing in refrigerator some losses moisture and some not.

Q.4- hot popcorn doesn't have water concentration. The mass of oil and mass of kernels are popping. This can be found by substrating mass of popped corn from mass of unpopped corn. water% can also be found dividing mass of water by mass of sample.
