What is the Microscopic technique used? and why? (2marks)
Describe and interpret what you see in the micrograph (8 Marks)
1st part
sub part 1
The microscopic technique used here is elctron microscopy.
Sub part 2
As per the magnification and scale of the micrograph, we can conclude that the direct magnification is 100000X. This huge magnification is only possible in case of electron microscopy where electron beam is used to project the sample of interest.
2nd Part
There are following interpretations can be made out of the micrograph:
1. the cell is not having any cell wall structures, thus can be conluded that it is an animal cell.
2. The cell membrane is clearly visible.
3. Inside the cell nuclear materials are visible.
