TDT - Thermal death time - It is the shortest length of time needed to kill all the microorganisms in a sample at a specific temperature.

Incineration (simply, exposure to flame) - It is one of the physical methods to control microorganisms. It burns organisms and destroys them physically. It is basically meant for sterilizing needles, inoculating wires, glasswares etc.
