Answer #1

Answer - Trace of a molecule of urea as it is excreted in the urine.

Urea in blood ------------- Blood enter kidney via renal artery ------------------ Afferent Arteriole

------------------- Glomerulus ------------------ Glomerular capsule (or bowman’s capsule) ---------------

Proximal tubule (Proximal convoluted tubule and Proximal straight tubule) ------------- Loop of Henle

----------------   Distal Convoluted Tubule (DCT) ------------------- Collecting Duct (CD)

------------------ Renal Pelvis ------------------- Ureters ---------------- Urinary bladders

------------------   Urethra ---------------- Out of the body.

Urea present in the blood enters into the renal corpuscle via renal artery where the filtration of blood occurs. The renal corpuscle has two components which are glomerulus and Bowman’s ( or glomerular capsule. Blood passes afferent arterioles present in the glomerulus and as a glomerular filtrate urea from the blood enters to the glomerular capsule. From here, urea passes from proximal tubule to loop of Henle to DCT to CT and finally from CD into renal pelvis. From here urine formed in CD passes to urinary bladder from renal pelvis by ureters and then urine is discharged from the body from urinary bladder via urethra.
