Answer #1

The infection of Clostridium difficile and polyomavirus can affect an individual significantly and majorly target older individual or an individual with weaker immune system due to any other disease or age. C. difficile causes inflammatory reaction and person can have fever and diarrhea (primary symptoms) whereas polyomavirus in normal condition does not create only problem and it observe any compromised immune system of host then it adversely affect.

In hospital, a patient can get nosocomial infections, particularly when they have a challenged immune system due to use of public toilets and are prone to have such problem very often. So, these pathogens can multiply the impact if patients are having other health condition like any other metabolic diseases like diabetes or cancer (or a patient who us undergoing chemotherapy).

Generally they enter through oral route, respiratory route in case of viruses when they use public toilet (toilet sheet) and other surface like door, window as these pathogens are having a high degree of spreading capacity (very contagious) when people do not maintain proper hygiene.
