Loss of blood will result in volemic thirst.

Volemic thirst is also known as Hypovolemic shock. This condition takes place when unexpected and critical loss of blood takes place from the body. Blood helps to maintain a healthy body temperature. It also helps in blood clotting along with the transfer of required oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. Too much loss of blood from the body will stop the organ's functioning abnormally.

The subfornical organ contains osmoreceptors.

An osmoreceptor can be defined as the neural receptor which is basically present in the hypothalamus of many homeothermic living beings that discovers variations in osmotic pressures. Osmoreceptors are present in various structures including circumventricular and subfornical organs.
