(1) \(\mathrm{C}_{2} \mathrm{Cl}_{2}\) molecule having one triple bond between two carbon atoms.So the central carbon undergoes \(s p\) hybridization

\(C l C \equiv C C l\)

(2) In \(\mathrm{CO}_{2}\) molecule The central carbon forms double bonds with each oxygen atom.So it undergoes \(s p\) hybridization.

\(O=C=O\)

(3) In \(\mathrm{O}_{3}\) the central Oxygen forms one single bond with one oxygen \& a double bond with another oxygen. So it undergoes \(s p^{2}\) hybridization.

(4) In \(\mathrm{H}_{2} \mathrm{O}\) the central oxygen forms single bonds with two Hydrogen atoms separately. So it undergoes \(\mathrm{sp}^{3}\) hybridization.
