1) Geographic range of a species is the spatial area where that species is found. A particular species has its own geographical range and this species can be found only on such Areas during their lifespan. Each and every species in earth has its own geographical range. This range is determined by both Biotic and abiotic factors. The factors include climate, temperature, humidity, interaction with other species,predation, their habitat. The species can't exist outside their geographical range. In ecological range the interaction of species with another species and its own surroundings is observed to find its ecological range . Here the range is determined by examining their ecosystem, interaction with its surrounding and other species living in that region .

2 Ecology is the study of interaction of species with its surrounding and other species around them and this interaction can be the reason for certain species to adapt and evolve according to its surrounding and hence evolution can occur to such a species. The ecological traits can also be the reason for the organisms to adapt and hence evolution occurs.

3 It is because the equitorial regions receive greater rainfall in a year . Equator receives more heat from the sun and this heated air can hold more water vapour and when it gets cooled when ascents heavy rainfall occurs. The trade wind from high subtropical pressure is also the reason for heavy rainfall at the equator. Mid lattitude regions are located in the middle of landmasses and mountains and are very far from oceans. The long distant location from oceans, which are the source of moisture is the reason for dry nature of this place.
